Beyonce is all set to play her first full-length gig in four years at Dubai where she will reportedly perform an hour-long event on January 21. The venue will be a private event at the five-star resort Atlantis The Palm and it was revealed on Friday December 23. To everyone’s surprise, the music icon is earning a sturdy paycheck from her stage comeback, as per the Sun.
Are you gearing up for watching Beyonce play live?
The report also quoted a source who revealed, "This will be Beyonce's first proper live event since she appeared at the Global Citizen Festival in Johannesburg in December 2018.”
"Tickets are like gold dust, and the night will be a who's who of the entertainment industry," as reported by Aceshowbiz. According to the insider, Queen Bey was hired for a staggering amount of more than $24 million.
"Beyonce is being lined up to sing at Atlantis as part of a huge, luxury event in January. The hotel brand has recently put on a range of massive performances, with Kylie Minogue booked in to perform on New Year's Eve," the source told The Sun, adding that the hotel is planning to host a star-studded line-up for concerts during the holiday season.
Nevertheless, invites to Beyonce's hour-long performance is the hottest (and hardest) ticket to get in town. "Afterwards, there is a party with Swedish House Mafia booked to do a DJ set."
The source also mentioned that the gig will be Beyonce's first proper live show since she performed at the Global Citizen Festival in Johannesburg in December 2018. Interestingly, the singer raked in the cash at her 'Club Renaissance' event last week, a two-night extravaganza that invited followers to "experience Renaissance in spatial audio." Tickets for the 21+ event reportedly sold out "seemingly in minutes," according to Variety.
