We have seen babies going crazy for superheroes especially for their masks. But how about a baby having a permanent superhero mark on her face? It is surely a moment of shock for the parents of little Luna, who was born with a black mark across her face. A baby named Luna Fenner was born to 36-year-old Carol Fenner with a rare birthmark which is similar to batman mask. Well, to everyone's surprise, as soon as her pictures went viral, netizens are falling in love with this baby.

The birthmark is medically a skin condition named congenital melanocytic nevus, which usually has an abnormally dark, noncancerous skin patch (nevus) that is composed of pigment-producing cells called melanocytes. Daily Mail states, they don't usually cause any complications but they can be itchy. There is a slight risk of melanoma, thought people with bigger CMNs face the highest risk - but it is still low.

This baby who was born with the batman birthmark is now netizen's favourite as she has a dedicated Instagram page for her with more than 166k followers and almost 154 posts. Luna’s mother has decided to get it treated for which she flew halfway from Florida to Russia, in search of the best surgeon.

Speaking about the same Carol told Daily Mail, ''When I decided to come a few months ago everybody called me crazy. A naevus is another word for a mole. A mole that is present form birth is known as a congenital melanocytic naevus (or birthmark). Treatment is usually surgery to remove the blemish. Full-thickness grafts may be required for large growths. If surgery is not possible due to the size, location or thickness of the blemish, laser therapy may help to reduce pigmentation and make it less hairy. Dermabrasion may also be used. This involves resurfacing the skin so it grows back smoother. But something in my head was telling me I should try.”

She further added, “People say mothers feel something, I feel it's true. I knew I needed to try and come. I don't know why I just decided to give it a try. I wanted to avoid the aggressive surgeries that I was seeing with the other doctors in the US. I was trying to trust him because he was my only choice. She hoped and prayed it was the 'right choice' for Luna. Her recovery was amazing. So I'm really grateful. She didn't feel pain. She didn't take pain medicine. Now seeing the results - I was shocked for the first time because the nevus is gone. Amazing.”

Well, we would love to see the reel-life Batman react on the same!
