Article 370 Revoked In Jammu And Kashmir: PM Narendra Modi Salutes His Sisters And Brothers From J&K And Ladakh

Prime Minister Narendra Modi opens up for the first time since Article 370 has been revoked from Jammu and Kashmir. He sent out a special message for people of J&K and Ladakh.

Article 370 was the divide between India and Kashmir and thanks to PM Narendra Modi led government, the valley is free of its shackles. Article 370 being revoked by the government was a welcome move by the whole of India. The revoking of Article 370 has brought about a change in the Jammu and Kashmir region. As promised by PM Modi, the government led by him has been making efforts since it has come again into power for the second term. After the abolishment of the article, for the first time, our honourable Prime Minister took to his social media account to share his views regarding the topic.  

PM Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah were also successfull at getting the Jammu And Kashmir Reorganisation Bill passed in the Lok Sabha today. This makes Jammu & Kashmir officially a Union Territory now and Ladakh a separate Union Territory. To share his views in regard to the bill passed yesterday. In reaction to the revoking of Article 370, PM Modi’s post read, “I salute my sisters and brothers of Jammu, Kashmir and Ladakh for their courage and resilience. For years, vested interest groups who believed in emotional blackmail never cared for people’s empowerment. J&K is now free from their shackles. A new dawn, better tomorrow awaits!” The PM further went on posting another tweet which read, “Together we are, together we shall rise and together we will fulfil the dreams of 130 crore Indians! A momentous occasion in our Parliamentary democracy, where landmark bills pertaining to Jammu and Kashmir have been passed with overwhelming support!” As the honourable PM expresses his views, the entire country has stood strong by the government’s decision.



Article 370 that has been revoked by the government earlier allowed the state to have its own constitution, a separate flag, and independence over all matters except foreign affairs, defense, and communications. The state of Jammu and Kashmir will now also be carved into two Union territories.
