The controversy surrounding Arjun Reddy and Kabir Singh’s misogynistic has yet again made it to the headlines. A few days ago, it was Malayalam actress Parvathy who slammed the film in front of Vijay Deverakonda, during the conversation held by Film Companion. Now, both the films’ director Sandeep Reddy Vanga is being trolled, albeit for his tweet on the Disha rape case. The tragic news, undoubtedly, has shaken the entire country and celebs from different walks of life have been asking for justice and stricter laws for women safety.

Sandeep Reddy Vanga, too, took to his Twitter and shared his two cents on the same. He wrote, “FEAR is the only factor which can change things radically in a society and FEAR should be the new rule. Brutal sentence will set an example. Now every girl in the country needs a firm guarantee. I request @warangalpolice to come into action. #RIPPriyankaReddy.” Soon after the tweet, netizens started bashing the filmmaker for his double standards. They were quick to recall the violent scenes in his films, where we see the male slapping the female and the part where the lead actor wants to rape a woman on knifepoint but he lets her go. A lot them called him a hypocrite.
