As they prepare for their upcoming nuptials, he was spotted attending Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s oath ceremony along with his father on Sunday evening.
It was on June 9, 2024, that dignitaries from all over the country attended the ceremony which was held at the Rashtrapati Bhavan in Delhi. It was certainly a historical event as Modi became the only Prime Minister after Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru to become India’s PM for the third consecutive time. As photos and videos from the ceremony went viral, eagle-eyed netizens caught a glimpse of the exquisite wristwatch Anant was wearing during the oath ceremony. As reported by Bollywood Shaadis, the 29-year-old businessman wore a special wristwatch by Patek Phillip, the world’s most expensive wristwatch maker. The watch complimented his all-black outfit. According to the report, he wore the most expensive wristwatch from the brand, titled Grandmaster Chime. Touted as the ‘most complicated’ wristwatch by the brand itself, it is made up of white gold. With a reversible black opaline time and Sonnerie dial, the watch also features a unique opaline calendar along with hand-stitched alligator leather straps. The entertainment portal reports that the Grandmaster Chime was assembled in over 1 lakh hours. Talking about their upcoming nuptials, the childhood sweethearts, Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant have known each other for a long time. Radhika is the daughter of Encore Healthcare CEO Viren Merchant and Shaila Merchant. They hosted their first pre-wedding celebration In March 2024 to introduce their wildlife center Vantara to the guests. This was followed by a cruise outing in May of the theme ‘La Vita E Un Viaggio’. According to the reports by Bollywood Shaadis, the ship costs around USD 900 million (approximately Rs 7,500 crore).
According to Anant and Radhika’s ‘save the date’ invitation, they will be tying the knot on July 12. The wedding will be taking place at Jio World Convention Centre in Mumbai.
