Veteran Bollywood actor Amitabh Bachchan recently graced the Ram Mandir's Pran Pratishtha ceremony with his presence along with many other A-list stars. The internet was taken by storm on Monday, as photos and videos from the auspicious occasion went viral. As everyone rejoiced in the ceremony, a video of the actor and his son, Abhishek Bachchan greeting Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Minister of Home Affairs Amit Shah and exchanging pleasantries with folded hands has surfaced on the internet.

In the video shared by the news agency ANI, the celebrities were seen greeting the political personalities amid the joyous chants of ‘Jai Shree Ram’ during the grand opening of the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Temple in Ayodhya. For the unversed, the rituals of the Ram Mandir’s Pran Pratishtha ceremony were led by PM Modi. As soon as the video was posted on social media, netizens were quick to take to the comment section of the post to hail Lord Ram. They even reshared the video of the idol. It was earlier reported that the 81-year-old actor bought a 10,000 sq ft plot in Ayodhya, ahead of the Pran Pratishtha ceremony. Shanti Bhushan Choubey, the registrar of Ayodhya Registrar had confirmed the development. He told ANI, “As part of the same agreement, two documents have been presented...it is a 10,000 square feet plot for which a transaction of Rs 9 crore has been done. Apart from the Bachchan father-son duo, the auspicious occasion was attended y many A-lister celebrities. From cricketers, and actors to high-profile dignitaries, a report by NDTV states that the event saw the participation of around 8,000 invitees, including 1,500-1,600 eminent guests. 

On the work front, Amitabh Bachchan was last seen in Uunchai alongside Anupam Kher and Boman Irani. He recently wrapped the 15th season of Kaun Banega Crorepati and has a list of exciting projects ahead of him. He will be seen in movies like Section 84, Kalki 2898 AD and the official remake of the hit Hollywood movie The Intern.
