The COVID-19 pandemic has been taking several lives across the world on a daily basis and many countries are trying their best to fight the deadly virus. Currently, the nation has been going through a crucial time and with the rapid spreading of the virus, many states have decided to extend the 21 days of lockdown to ensure the safety of everyone. Today, a message to the people of the country was shared on Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s official handle. PM Modi will address the nation at 10 AM tomorrow.

On Twitter, a tweet was made to the people of the country from Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s official account. The tweet read, “Prime Minister @narendramodi will address the nation at 10 AM on 14th April 2020.” In the tweet, it was mentioned that the Prime Minister of India will be addressing the nation on April 14, 2020, at 10 o'clock in the morning. While we wait for what PM Modi has to share with the nation, about days back, India was put under a 21-day lockdown announced by the Prime Minister on March 24, 2020.

As the lockdown is nearing an end, many states fighting strongly against the COVID-19 pandemic have demanded that the Centre extends the lockdown despite all the problems the country is facing to curb the rampant spread of the virus and flatten the curve. Until now, states such as Maharashtra, Punjab, Telangana, and others have already extended the lockdown till April 30.

Meanwhile, since the first cases of the Coronavirus have been tested, the number of people testing positive for COVID-19 has risen drastically.
