21 days lockdown has been declared in India due to outbreak of deadly coronavirus. People are requested and advised to stay at homes during this period of time as precautionary measure. As people are spending time with their loved ones and family members, Amul has released its new ad about the situation. In the ad poster we can see, the Amul girl standing in the balcony of a house looking out at the empty road. The Amul mascot is seen holding a bread smeared with yellow butter in her right hand. Further the ad reads, "Stay healthy. Not hungry. Amul, lockdown in bread!" The Indian dairy brand shared the ad on Twitter with the caption, "#Amul Topical: On the 21-day nation-wide lockdown."
Amul is not only known for its dairy products, but also for its topical ads referring to current situations. From news, politics, sports, entertainment to a health emergency, they come up with an most apt ad for every situation.

Meanwhile, Amul has increased its production due to the emergency situation in India. Amul MD, RS Sodhi said in a report that they are distributing around 15 per cent more milk and milk products in all major cities.
While a complete lockdown has been done in the country, all important services are available to people. From milk, vegetables, grocery, medicines and other general services are open and provided to the public. Citizens are urged to stay at home and not leave their house unless its an emergency. According to data sources, a total of 15 people have died due to coronavirus in India. Around 649 confirmed cases have been reported till now.
