South superstar Allu Arjun is basking in the success of his latest release ‘Pushpa: The Rise’ which has broken all records at the box office. Sukumar’s directorial, which hit Indian screens in December last year, will be premiered in the opening ceremony of The fifth Indian Film Festival- to be held in 24 Russian cities. Allu along with the other cast is currently in Russia promoting the movie and is being thronged by excited fans and kids for selfies.
Several videos and photos of Allu posing with little kids and people have surfaced online and it speaks volumes about his fandom worldwide. In one of the viral videos, the actor could be seen sitting and posing with a little disabled child for the pictures. In another, Allu gives his autograph to fans. The actor was also seen cutting the cake with fans cheering up for him. ‘Pushpa: The Rise’ had its special premiere in Moscow on 1st December and will have its screening in St. Petersburg on 3rd December. The film will be released in Russia on 8th December. It has been dubbed in the Russian language. Also starring Rashmika Mandanna in the lead role, Pushpa narrates a story of a low-wage laborer who rises in the world of red sandalwood smuggling and violence follows when police attempt to bring down his illegal business. The film was commercially successful, grossing Rs 350.3–373 crore at the box office, and emerged as the highest-grossing Indian film in 2021. The makers are now coming up with its sequel titled Pushpa 2: The Rule which is under production.
