After several months of a strict lockdown owing to the Coronavirus pandemics, the restrictions started easing up gradually. While shooting for films and television shows were earlier brought to a grinding halt, they have once again resumed with proper precautions. Even so, many celebrities tested positive for Coronavirus recently. Neetu Kapoor, Varun Dhawan, Maniesh Paul had contracted COVID-19 while they were shooting for their film Jug Jugg Jeeyo. Now, South superstar and Alia Bhatt’s RRR co-star Ram Charan tested positive for COVID-19.
Ram Charan had reportedly been shooting for SS Rajamouli’s magnum opus RRR, which also stars Alia Bhatt and Ajay Devgn in Hyderabad. Ram Charan took to his social media and informed fans about his Cornavirus diagnosis. Soon after, wishes for his speedy recovery started flooding in. Mahesh Babu replied to Ram Charan’s tweet and wrote, “Take care Charan... Wishing you a quick recovery! Stay safe”. Anushka Shetty took to her Instagram stories and wrote, “Wishing u speedy recovery Get well soon Charan.”
On Twitter, Ram Charan wrote, “Request all that have been around me in the past couple of days to get tested. More updates on my recovery soon.” The note shared by him read, “I have tested positive for Covid-19. No symptoms and quarantined at home. Hope to heal soon and come out stronger.”
