The Men in blue recently made their way to England to attend the ICC World Test Championship final. Before the departure, the Indian skipper Virat Kohli and head coach Ravi Shastri showed up for a virtual press conference where they were addressing various questions from journalists. But before the live conference could kick in properly, Ravi and Virat were busy discussing their game plan against New Zealand, completely unaware of the fact the live session has already started. Soon, an audio clip of the same got leaked online and went viral in no time.
In the video, Kohli said, “Hum inko round the wicket dalwayenge, Left handers hai inpe, Lala Siraj sabko start se hi laga denge” whereas Shastri said, “hmm”. A Twitter user shared the audio clip on his social media where he revealed that Virat Kohli was talking about Lala Siraj bowling first in the game. Soon the clip found its way to the internet, a mixed reaction was seen in the comment section, While one thought it to be their strategy, “Its to confuse them, now they will bowl over the wicket, when the other "secret" thing is expected,” the other one had the same thinking as he said, “Who knows this leak may be a part of the pre-match strategy against NZ.”
There was one more user who was speculating if Siraj will play before Shami. “Biggest thing here is he mentioned Siraj. Maybe he is gonna play ahead of shami….maybe” Check out the audio clips below:
