This morning, we woke up to popular cartoon series Chhota Bheem trending on Twitter for all the wrong reasons. The lead characters of the cartoon series have been making headlines after netizens pointed out that Chhota Bheem betrayed Chutki to marry Rajkumari Indumati. Seeing how Chhota Bheem was all set to marry Rajkumari Amrit and not to Chutki, all the Chutki lovers took to Twitter to slam the makers for the latest twist in the plot and ask for #JusticeForChutki. So much so that the hashtag found its place in Twitter's top trends.

Now terming it as fake news the makers of Chhota Bheem have reacted to the topmost trend. Taking to Facebook Chhota Bheem page the makers called it fake news and released a statement. Their statement read, "#KillFakeNews #JusticeforChutki

We would like everyone to know that all the characters in the show including Chhota Bheem, Chutki and Indumati are all still kids."Β
