Indian cricketer and former skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni, popularly known as MSD, had taken the internet by storm after announcing that he will be serving the Indian Army. This came after the World Cup 2019, wherein our men in blue were ousted by team New Zealand from the semi-finals. Well, sticking true to his words, Dhoni did serve in the territorial army in Jammu and Kashmir, in fact, he also rang in the 73rd Independence Day with the masses of Ladakh. Moreover, MSD learned about weaponry, battle craft and participated in various sporting events.
Post his two-week stint in the Indian army, the former cricket captain is back in the bay. A throwback picture of Lt. Colonel MS Dhoni is doing the rounds on social media, wherein the cricketer could be seen engrossed in his duty. However, the highlight of this picture was the two bats that were placed, leaning onto his desk. Earlier in the day, a video of MS Dhoni leaving the Jaipur airport was shared by his fan clubs. In the clip, the cricketer was sporting quite a different look. We could see him wearing a black bandana on his head, along with the salt and pepper beard. Well, fans surely loved this avatar of MSD, as he got mobed by hundreds of them.
Recently, social media was buzzing with the speculations of his retirement from cricket, however, there hasn’t been any official confirmation from Dhoni’s side.
