3 Killed Due To Crane Accident On Sets Of Kamal Haasan's Indian 2; Kajal Aggarwal, Rakul Preet Express Grief

An unfortunate accident took place on the sets of Kamal Haasan's upcoming film Indian 2. Reportedly a crane came crashing down and it killed three people, leaving 10 others injured. Post the incident, actresses Kajal Aggarwal, Rakul Preet and many others took to Twitter to share condolences.

A piece of shocking news from the sets of Kamal Haasan's upcoming film Indian 2 has left many numb. Reportedly, an unfortunate accident involving a crane took place on the sets. The film was being shot in a studio in Chennai and while a scene was on, a crane reportedly came crashing down. Three people lost their lives while the accident left ten people injured. The incident has left all the crew members shell shocked and they are mourning the death of their fellow mates. Actresses Kajal Aggarwal and Rakul Preet Singh took to Twitter to grieve their deaths.

Kajal wrote on Twitter, "In so much shock, denial, trauma from the monstrous crane accident last night. All it took was a fraction of a second to stay alive and type this tweet. Just that one moment. Gratitude. So much learning and appreciation for the value of time and life." Rakul on her Twitter handle wrote, "Shocked to hear about the accident on the set of my film indian 2.. I don’t even know how to process the loss of lives.. my Heart goes out to families of the deceased .. extremely extremely sad."

The members who lost their lives were Krisha – Assistant Director, Chandran – Art Assistant and Madhu – Production Assistant. Lyca Productions, the production house of the film, had also posted a tweet to mourn the death of their three members. Further, the costume designer Amritha Ram had described in her tweet that Kamal Haasan and Kajal Aggarwal were just a few seconds away from the location of the mishap.
