Prime Minister Narender Modi has been a trending topic on social media ever since a section of his speech from a recent Election rally went viral. His speech has raised a lot of concerns in the minds of the netizens over the ruling party insulting minorities. For the unversed, in his speech PM Modi took a dig at the Congress party by provoking the listeners. He went on to criticise the Muslim community and termed them as ‘infiltrators’. Well apart from the netizens, many celebrities too have now taken to official social media handles to slam him.

Sharing the now-viral clip of PM Modi’s ‘hate speech,’ actor Prakash Raj schooled him. He expressed how the BJP government is ‘naked and desperate power’. He went on to write how people will teach them a lesson as the speech will be documented as history. While actress Shreya Dhanwanthary called out the ‘propaganda of hate,’ Swara Bhasker wrote in Hindi, “I don't know about Mangalsutra but their economic policies, inflation, and corruption will definitely make you sell your jewellery.”

South actor and filmmaker Siddharth too reshared the viral video and wrote, “Rahul Gandhi was disqualified from Lok Sabha for allegedly insulting the Modi community. Here, Modi openly and very explicitly spews venom against the Muslim community but he will invariably get away with it in new India.”

For the unversed, during the election rally in Rajasthan’s Banswara region, the Prime Minister of India said, “When Congress was in power, they said Muslims have the first right to the wealth of the nation. Jinke zyada bacche hain, unko baatenge, ghuspaithiyon ko baatenge. Should you hard-earned money be distributed amongst infiltrators? Bhaiyon aur behno, yeh Urban Naxal ki soch, meri mataon, behno, aapka mangal sutra bhi bachne nahi denge.”

Netizens have been left enraged due to the speech and they have been expressing the same through their social media handles.
