Siddharth Sagar And Subuhi Joshi Get Engaged- View Pics And Read What The Lovers Have To Say

Comedian Siddharth Sagar and girlfriend Subuhi Joshi has taken their relationship to the next level. The madly-in-love couple got engaged in an intimate ceremony in Delhi. SpotboyE.com got in touch with the couple immediately after they exchanged rings today.

The couple had broken up for sometime but got back together in June this year. They had then shared photos of each other on their social media handles, announcing their reunion. While Siddharth posted a photo of the two with the caption, “Im so happy to come back to you…thankyou @subuhijoshi_essjay darling..”, Subuhi shared many pictures of them and welcomed Siddharth back in her life, saying that they were always meant to be with each other, “People who are meant to be together find their way back. They may take a few detours, but they are never lost. HAPPY BIRTHDAY SIDDY BOY Welcome Home”

Read on for their FIRST INTERVIEW (EXCLUSIVE) after engagement. Excerpts:

Congratulations! 
Subuhi & Siddharth: Thank you so much, we just exchanged rings. 

When did you guys decide to get engaged? 
Subuhi: 3-4 days back. Actually it was my birthday on October 29 and we were in Goa to celebrate, so he got me a ring. So I told him he should rather talk to my mother first because I wanted to tell her everything in detail eventually. So he spoke to my mother and  she was extremely happy about it. And everything happened o quickly. I am so-oooo happy.

Siddharth: We were anyway very much committed to each other. So I also felt it’s the best way to prove it. 

Whose idea was it to get engaged? 
Siddharth: I basically planned a surprise for her in Goa at a shack. Mubeen Saudagar and his wife helped me to organise everything for her. When I took her towards that shack, she started complaining, she wanted to know where are we going and why is it so dark here. The moment we reached, they put on the lights and sang a beautiful song for her. It was all so romantic and she was extremely happy. But the moment I took out the ring and proposed to her, she told me to first speak to her mother. Then I called her mother, a bit hesitatingly of course, and said I want to get engaged to Subuhi- and her reaction really made my day. She was just thrilled to bits.

Tell us about the engagement function... 
Subuhi: It went really well, only my immediate family was present, say about 20-25 people. We had booked a banquet near my house. It was kind of a very close affair. 

Siddharth: There was no one from my end not even my parents, but her family didn’t made me feel awkward. They had wonderfully organised everything and made me feel special, so I was really happy. Kisi ki kami mehsoos nahi hui. 

Did you miss your parents on this big day? 
Siddharth: Honestly, no. 

Why didn’t you invite your fans to your engagement? 
Siddharth: Actually everything happened so suddenly that I couldn’t get chance to invite them. But nevertheless, we will definitely celebrate this moment with them after returning to Mumbai.

When are you two coming back to Mumbai? 
Siddharth: Tommorow itself as I have a few meetings lined up and then have to resume my shoot of Comedy Circus. 

When are you planning to tie the knot?
Siddharth: Shaadi mein to abhi bhaut time hai, abhi kuch socha nahin hai date ke baare mein. But now that we are officially engaged, we will definitely speak to Subuhi's parents and finalise the rest of the things.
