Ridhima Pandit who was last seen in AltBalaji's Hum opposite Kushal Tandon is all set to show her daredevilry in the reality show, Khatron Ke Khiladi. Talking about it, Ridhima made lots of revelations around the show, her physical transformation and also addressed rumours of a link-up with co-star Kushal Tandon

How has your journey for Khatron Ke Khiladi been?
It was a life changing experience for me. I can't tell you how much we have screamed out of fear. And how many difficult stunts we have performed.

What was your first reaction when they approached you for Khatron Ke Khiladi?
I immediately said no, but to myself and not to them. I just felt I won't be able to do it. So it’s better I should not even think of saying a yes. But then by evening, I convinced myself and called them back and asked, do they really perform such stunts which we see on the show? And now when people ask me this question I feel so angry. Because everything out there you see is real. And the weather in Argentina was so harsh that I can't tell you. So doing such acts in a chilling weather was a big big task for me.

We hear that Rohit Shetty gifted you a pair of glares?
I don't know if I am allowed to reveal this. But yes, I was very much crazy about Rohit Sir's shades. So in every episode when he used to come, I used to tell him, 'Sir nice glares' before wishing him a good morning. Everyone used to tease me there by saying 'Ridhima ki nazar Rohit sir ke glares pe hai'. After which he promised by saying, ‘I will gift you one pair of glares, the day you will perform a stunt beyond my expectations.’ So after that he gifted me one or not? Well, to know that, you will have to watch Khatron Ke Khiladi.

Was there any day when you felt like giving up on the show?
There were a lot of days when I used to give up and say no its not going to happen for me. But the team was so good, they used to cheer so much that it used to give me motivation to perform. And sometimes when we all used to get dull, Rohit sir used to push us and that helped me sustain for a long time in the show.

So, who all are your friends and enemies after the show?
Of course a lot of arguments happened while performing tasks. When partner stunts used to happen, there used to be a lot of pressure and we all used to react in that phase and do the blame game. But to know in detail, you will have to tune in to the show.

You have worked a lot on your physique. Any special reason behind the transformation?
When I was shooting for Bahu Hamari Rajni Kant, I never used to get time to work on myself as we have to shoot for long shift hours. But now I am working on my body as I have time. I go to the gym. I do weight-lifting. I also do yoga and pilates. I don't do running and I was feeling extremely bad when I was doing Khatron Ke Khiladi because I used to lag behind in some stunts. But yes, I have really worked hard on my body and I feel great that people are noticing it. But getting thinner is not my aim. My aim is just to be healthy and I will advice the same to all my fans.

Any plans of a HUM sequel?
I just hope Ekta mam thinks something around it. We are very happy with the response to Hum. I made some really great friends like Kushal Tandon, Karishma Sharma. We still hang out together. I was very much happy with my character. For the first time, I got an opportunity to play someone emotional. Although I have cried more in Khatron Ke Khiladi.

What made you cry there except difficult stunts?
The weather I would say. One day Aditya Narayan got so pissed with me and said, ‘Ridhima tumhari to fight hi alag hai’. You are still complaining of weather, whereas we all are discussing as to how will we perform stunts and you are like kitani thand hai yahan par! Other than me, Jasmin Bhasin was also a cry-baby. Many a times we came together in partner stunts and cutely she used to say, ‘Ridhima mere se to nahi hoga tere se hoga to karle’.

You were rumoured to be dating Kushal Tandon?
Oh my god! Really Me? (Laughs). Kushal is like family to me; definitely more than a friend. What else can I say?

Till when will we see you remain single?
I have heard till the time you don't get married you are single. So you see, I’m single till then.
