TV actress Shubhaavi Choksey who essays the character of Mohini Basu in Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2 made headlines for slapping her co-star Hina Khan on sets. However, Shubhaavi immediately apologised for her unintentional act by sending a card and flower bouquet to Hina with a sorry message on it. Recently, we caught up with the actress for an exclusive chat and we couldn't resist ourselves to know from her mouth what exactly happened on the set that day.

Talking about it, Shubhaavi who is still under trauma told SpotboyE.com, "What happened was for Mohini Basu this month is very very important in the show. Because there is a lot happening. Komolika has to get out of the house. That promo was like a 30 second promo in which I just had 10 seconds in which I had to show what all has happened in last 4 months. So I was in the whole element like Komolika has done this to my son, my husband, me. And I was completely into that zone that I didn't even realise that I have changed my mark. Unfortunately, the place where I was standing was close to her mark and unintentionally I hit her. And this is for first time in my life that I actually raised my hand on somebody and that too on an actor, on top of it a woman and most importantly on such a sweet girl. I was in a state of shock after that. And after 2 seconds I just grabbed her and said ‘I am so sorry’."

When asked what was Hina's reaction, Shubhaavi said, "She was quiet and walking towards the monitor as she wanted to see the shot. And I was walking behind her apologising repeatedly as I was feeling so bad. I understand it was a human error. But the best part was after 5 minutes, Hina was explaining me the same thing and asked me to calm down. ‘Let’s talk something else’, she said. But I couldn't control myself and was continuously apologising. Then Hina said, ‘Shubhaavi I know you. You haven't done anything intentionally so just calm down. It’s over, it’s done. Hota hai acting mein. Why are you thinking about it so much?’ And then she said, ‘Please isko yahan se lekar jao.’ I would have just started crying over there I got so disturbed. It was something that I will always take with me. And that's why the next day as a courtesy, I sent her a bouquet and a card. But then it went on Instagram and everybody came to know about my mistake".

She also added, "Everyone on the set was like ye kya hogaya. Out of those 3 people whom I don't want to name, came to me and asked, ‘Shubhaavi Are you ok?’ I think everyone on the sets realised how bad I was feeling that time. So they came and started consoling me by saying, ‘It’s okay Shubhaavi, we all know you. You care so much for people. It’s fine.’ But believe me I have taken an oath in future also whenever I have to do a scene where I need to slap someone will never get into the zone of my character and do it. Honestly, main yeh thappad ki goonj kabhi nahin bhoolungi".

Speaking of Hina Khan’s exit, SpotboyE.com had reported that May 13 will be her last day on sets. In fact, we were the first to reveal that the actress is taking a break from the show to focus on her film commitments. She is headed to Cannes with her move, Lines. Then, she also has a Vikram Bhatt film in her kitty.

Meanwhile, lovebirds Erica Fernandes and Parth Samthaan recently returned from Mussoorie where they celebrated her birthday. Also, SpotboyE.com revealed the real reason for their choice of destination as the man loves mountains. Also, the makers had been looking for an actor to step into the shoes of Ronit Roy who played the iconic Mr Bajaj in the first part. A source close to us discovered that Karan Wahi will reprise the role of Mr Bajaj.
