India’s Best Dramebaaz has premiered its finale episode tonight. The show which is judged by Vivek Oberoi, Huma Qureshi and Omung Kumar finally got its winner and it is none other than the Pune girl Dipali Borkar. Sonali Bendre who was initially judging the show and had to quit midway when her cancer had been detected also sent a special video message for the little Draamebaaz. We got in touch with the little winner and she spilled the beans on her winning moment, prize money, aspiration of becoming an actor and her message to Sonali Bendre. Here are the excerpts;
Congratulations Dipali!
Thank you. I am feeling so good as I have worked a lot from start to end. And finally the trophy is with me. Yeahh!
What was your mom-dad's reaction when your name was announced?
So in the end, only two finalists remained And then all three judges came on the stage and said “Is baar ki India’s Best Draamebaaz hai Deepali”. Initially, I went completely blank that they have taken my name. But then finally I realised, yes yes main hi winner hoon.
What are you going to do with the prize money?
I have received Rs 5 lakh and I am going to save it for my future.

What you want to become in future?
I want to become an actress like Madhuri Dixit. Main Madhuri Dixit Banana Chahti Hoon! I admire her a lot and try to enact all her expressions and dance moves. So I will become an actress like her.
How much are you going to miss all the three judges?
I am going to miss everyone a lot. During the season, all my performances went well due to which they have always praised me and said good things. Then Shantnu bhaiya used to make me laugh a lot. All the friends I made in the show and of course the audiences loved due to which I became the winner. I will miss everyone.
Omung Kumar has already signed you for a film, how does it feel?
Yes, he told me I will take you in one of my films and even gave me a cheque. It’s going to be a mind-blowing film.
Dipali Borkar
You have already done a reality show before and show also, you think that helped you to get more votes?
I have done Super Dancer, Dance Champion, then I did Peshwa Bajirao for Sony TV. People knew me no doubt, but I worked here also. The judges were very fair and they rated me very well. I had a feeling I will win.
Who was your toughest competitor?
Anish Bhaiya. He could have also win.
