TV actor Ashish Sharma whom we last saw in Sony TV's Chandragupta Maurya made his digital debut with the web series Modi: Journey Of A Common Man where he will be seen playing the character of young Modi. The election commission had stopped the streaming on Eros Now by sending a notice. However, the makers are heaving a sigh of relief now as the web series is back on the platform, after the elections are over.

Meanwhile, we get you an exclusive chat with Ashish Sharma while he was promoting the series. Talking about his character, Ashish confessed that he was taken aback when approached to play the character. He mentioned that more than looking like him, it was important to convince the audience and it was quite a challenge for him. Ashish did mention he was mentally prepared that even if he doesn't make a mistake, he will be trolled for playing this character. “But more than the pressure, I feel responsible to play him, after all he is such a personality and we are presenting him as an image to other countries also. So it is our responsibility,” says Ashish.

Ashish is pretty vocal about the comparisons between his web series and Vivek Oberoi's biopic on Modi. The actor also told us that this web show will definitely tell the untold story of Narendra Modi. WATCH THE VIDEO BELOW:



Ashish Sharma who is a successful actor and has been part of many popular TV shows like Chandragupt Maurya, Siya Ke Ram, Rangrasiya, also discloses that he will never do a supernatural series. On the personal front, the actor told us about his plans of starting a family with wife Archana Taide.
