The Kapil Sharma Show gave its makers a reason to smile last week (Week 27 , June 30-July 6) as the introduction of Chandan Prabhakar and Bharti Singh helped propel its ratings. The comedy show was at No. 6 in the week.
However, situation has drastically changed in Week 28 (July 8-14). For, The Kapil Sharma Show failed to make it to the Top 10. In fact, it found itself at No.14 in the said week.

While hockey team players Sardara Singh, Ramandeep Singh, Harmanpreet Singh, Manpreet Singh, and Akashdeep Singh, along with their coach Jugraj Singh made an appearance on July 8 (Saturday), Team Indu Sarkar – Madhur Bhandarkar, Kriti Kulhari, Neil Nitin Mukesh and Bappi Lahiri turned up on July 9 (Sunday).

Evidently, they failed to aid the comedy show’s ratings.

The soared ratings do not come as a surprise considering Kumkum Bhagya is a popular family drama and fans were keen to experience the Pragya's (Sriti Jha) long-lost sisters - Preeta and Shrishti’s story.
Dayaben And Jethalal In Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah
The rest of the leader board did not showcase much change with Amul Sa Re Ga Ma Little Champs continuing its winning run and claiming the numero uno position, yet again. The reality show was followed by Kumkum Bhagya at No.2 and Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah at No.3.
