Kapil Sharma’s
woes are far from abating. The Kapil Sharma Show failed to make it to the Top
10 for the 4th CONSECUTIVE
week. In fact, in Week 17 (April 21-27), the show registered the LOWEST
viewership ever since the infamous brawl between Kapil and Sunil
Grover.
On April 22,
well-known Punjabi singer Hans Raj Hans and his son, Navraj Hans made an
appearance, while on April 23 – which was the show’s 100th episode – Boman Irani and a few players
from the Indian Badminton Team turned up.
The makers
expected the 100th episode
of The Kapil Sharma Show to strike a chord with the audience considering it has
been a year-long association, however, the results are far from rosy. The
performance of the episode in question was dismal. Take a look:
Ratings in
average impressions
Saturday (April
22): 3,096
Sunday (April
23): 3,794
This is a great
fall for the show, which on a good weekend registered ratings of 7000 +.
Let us tell you
that Sony was shouting from the rooftops about the comedy show’s landmark 100th episode and had even advertised in
newspapers, but evidently fans refused to tune it. Imagine the cost involved in
getting ads placed! Also, our sources tell us that the channel’s GRP is only 4
points more than Life OK. The latter is not one of the top rated GECs on
television, and if Sony is being compared to it, it’s definitely time for
higher ups to panic.

Furthermore, for the first time in months Ekta Kapoor’s Naagin 2 was displaced from the top spot. And guess which show clinched the spot? Well, another Ekta show, Kumkum Bhagya.
