Week 31 (July 28-
August 3) threw up a few unexpected results. To begin with, Kumkum Bhagya,
which was going solid at no. 3 for several weeks now has been displaced. The
spot has been taken over by Dance Deewane which is judged by Madhuri Dixit,
Shashank Khaitan and Tushar Kalia.
This result is
proof that reality shows will never go out of fashion in the telly world.

Up next, Naagin 3
continued to reign. The Karishma Tanna, Anita Hassanandani, Surbhi Jyoti
and Rajat Tokas has established a strong ground and from the looks of it, will
not be ousted from the spot in weeks to come.
Kundali Bhagya
stayed put at No. 2 and so did, Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai. Good going, we must
say.

Zee TV show, Ishq
Subhan Allah, registered substantial improvement in the week in question. The
family drama went from No.9 to 6. The show starring Eisha Singh and Adnan Khan
revolves around two people, Zara and Kabir who follow the same religion, Islam,
and have pursued higher studies in it, but interpret the Quran differently.
While Zara is an
open-minded Muslim woman who fights for people's rights, Kabir is
culture-driven and conservative.

Furthermore,
Jennifer Winget and Harshad Chopra starrer Bepannah found a spot in the Top
20. The show recently completed a century and has been receiving
appreciation from audience and critics alike. It will be interesting to see how
the show goes from here.

Finally, Nimki
Mukhiya continued to disappoint as far as BARC ratings are concerned.
Considering the show is talked about, it’s time the makers sit down to analyse
what’s ailing the drama.
