Well, the current lockdown situation calls for loads of reruns on our TV channels. All the old shows are back on our screens and the audience can’t be happier. So of course, the Top 10 list of shows has the oldies from the past. Or you could call it Blast from the past! Let’s begin and see which show ruled the roost and which show failed to hit the list this time.

On the top slot is Ramayan for the second consecutive week. Clearly, our audience has a thing for mythological shows and that’s clearly evident. Next in line is Mahabharat, another mythological show that’s doing very well on the TRP charts. On No. 3 is Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah. This show can never stop tiring the audience despite ruling the TV screens for more than a decade now.

On No 4 is Mukesh Khanna’s Shaktimaan that made our childhood memories pleasant. He was the most revered superhero back then and now that he’s back in our drawings rooms, naturally the viewers are a happy bunch. India’s Best Dancer stands on the 5th slot and like we always say, there’s an audience for dance reality shows. So, here you go!

The re-telecast of Saath Nibhaana Saathiya is also doing well and has occupied No 6 on the chart. Indeed, amazing! Khatron Ke Khiladi has witnessed a fall as it drops from the 3rd to the 7th slot this time. Can we say that the old reruns are working their way up leaving these shows behind? Well, yes!

The Jungle Book by Neel Sethi is on the list this time on the 9th slot and finally, on the 10th position we have Mere Sai. Clearly, mythological shows are ruling the roost!
