Last week (Week 21: May 19-25), we told you that
Kullfi Kumarr Bajewala, which has been receiving acclaim from critics and
audience alike, had slipped on the leader board significantly. However, in Week
22 (May 26- June 1), the show is back with the bang.
The show has reclaimed its spot in the top 5 (it clinched
the 5th spot) and we bet the makers are smiling from ear to ear. Kullfi… stars Aakriti
Sharma, Mohit Malik, Shruti Sharma and Anjali Anand in lead roles and
follows the journey of a young singing prodigy Kullfi, who sets out to find her
father.
A Still From Kullfi Kumarr Bajewala
Making an entry in Top 10 yet again is Jennifer Winget
and Harshad Chopra’s Bepannah -- No.9. The romantic thriller may not be a
leader board staple but we do see it making a comeback from time to time.
Harshad Chopra And Jennifer Winget In Bepannah
While Bepannah shot back into the list of most popular
shows, Divyanka Tripathi and Karan Patel starrer Yeh Hai Mohabbatein was ousted
from it. This comes as a huge surprise as the family drama always finds a spot
in the Top 10 despite fluctuating impressions.
Yeh Hain Mohabbatein took a leap some time ago and we
wonder if the audience has failed to warm up to the transition.
However, considering it’s backed by Ekta Kapoor, we
wouldn’t be surprised if it makes a rocking comeback.
Divyanka Tripathi In Ye Hai Mohabbatien
Nimki Mukhiya missed top 10 this week as well despite the
nod of approval coming its way. Time for a twist, may be?
Meanwhile, Kumkum Bhagya displaced Kundali Bhagya as the
most-watched show on Indian television. Ishq Subhan Allah and Yeh Rishta Kya
Kehlata Hai were on the 3rd and 4th positions.
Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah and Shakti –
Astitva Ke Ehsaas Ki acquired 6th and 7th spot respectively.
