It's that time of the week when production houses and makers await to know where their show stands on the TRP charts. Tempers are running high, and the competition between the shows has only increased. We are back with the Top 10 series on the TRP list.
First, let's begin with the big misses! Yet again, Bigg Boss 13 and Nach Baliye 9 miss the mark. The controversial reality show Bigg Boss that's hosted by Salman Khan is nowhere to be seen in the Top 10 list since the onset. Now, with the introduction of wild card entrants like Shefali Jariwala, Hindustan Bhau and Tehseen Poonawalla, let's see if things heat up inside the house and the show gets a boost.
Next, we expected at least the semi-finale of Nach Baliye 9 to feature on the coveted list, but it seems this season has no luck on the chart. Guess who's ruling the list? Asit Modi's Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah it is! Jab se Dayaben ke 'comeback' ki news aayi hai, the show has taken off to dizzying heights and secured the top slot for the second consecutive week, leaving behind shows like Kundali Bhagya and Kumkum Bhagya. Kundali Bhagya comes on the second spot followed by Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai.
What's surprising is the list is an exact replica of week 42 and none of the shows have changed their positioning on the chart. So, reality shows like KBC and Indian Idol are on 4 and 5 respectively. Choti Sardani which has usually been at the bottom is slowly picking up at number 6. Another shock comes in the form of Kumkum Bhagya which is 7th spot.
The 9th slot is occupied by Yeh Jaadu Hai Jinn Ka and finally, Shakti-Astitva Ke Ehsaas Ki is on No. 10.
