Week 52’s
(December 23-29) biggest downfall is Bigg Boss 11, Weekend Ka Vaar – surprising
it may sound because there is so much chatter about its contestants on social
media. The reality show has touched rock bottom on the 1-10 list.

acquired the 10 spot in the week in question. It’s evident that Hiten Tejwani
and Arshi Khan’s eviction has impacted the show’s ratings. The former’s voice
of reason and the latter’s antics made the show entertaining to the say the
least. The cherry on the cake was the nok-jhok that the two were part of. Looks
like Bigg Boss 11 fans miss the two.

Furthermore,
there is also a big slump in Ekta Kapoor’s flagship show – Yeh Hai Mohabbatein
– top-lined by Divyanka Tripathi. The show drooped to No. 4 from 1 (in the last
week). Seems her death track took quite a few of her loyalists and thus the
family drama’s ratings.

Meanwhile, the
beneficiary seems to be Udaan, which notched two positions upward. This is good
news for the makers (Mahesh Bhatt) as it was stagnant for the past couple of
weeks.

Also, Kundali
Bhagya has returned to the No.1 spot, which it tends to occupy on most weeks.
This is good compensation for the Queen of Soaps, Ekta Kapoor.

Taarak Mehta Ka
Ooltah Chashmah retained its spot at No. 3, while Kumkum Bhagya climbed by two
positions. Super Dancer 2 was the fifth most-watched show this week.
