Week 38 (September 17- September 23) threw up some unexpected results yet again and it’s great news for Zee TV. Two of its shows Brahmarakshas - Jaag Utha Shaitaan and Kumkum Bhagya fared better as compared to week 37 (September 9- September 16). Talking of Sony’s The Kapil Sharma Show, the makers have a reason to smile as the show climbed up a notch and stood at number 4 in week 38. On September 17 (Saturday) the cast of Banjo – Riteish Deshmukh and Nargis Fakhri – made an appearance while September 18 (Sunday) saw composer Shekhar Ravjiani coming to the show with boy band The Vamps.

Further, Colors show Shakti- Astitva Ke Ehsaas Ki and Star Plus show Saath Nibhaana Saathiya were relegated to number 2 and 5 respectively. The former was at the top spot in week 36 and 37, the latter, on the other hand, was at number 3.

Making a surprise entry into the list of top 10 shows across GECs are Sony’s Super Dancer at number 7 and Colors show Kavach – Kaali Shaktiyon Se at number 10. Super Dancer is judged Shilpa Shetty, Geeta Kapur and Anurag Basu. The fact that the dance reality show has been appreciated by the audiences only cements the notion that reality shows are here to stay.
