Anil Kapoor’s 24 Season 1 might have managed to hit the bull’s eye as far as the thrill quotient is concerned, but the second season of the much-hyped show has a different story to tell. The TVTs (Television Viewership in Thousands) of the show have been constantly dipping. What started out as a promising first weekend (July 23) with a viewership of over 13 lakh, plummeted by the second week. The show picked up slightly in its third weekend, only to dip again in the fourth (August 14), where the show recorded its lowest viewership of just a little over 6 lakh in the week).

You might want to recall that last month Anil Kapoor took a train ride from Churchgate to promote the second season of the drama series. He even took to Twitter to share the photographs of the fan frenzy.

Earlier this month, the Dil Dhadakne Do actor headed to Dubai to spread the word about his ongoing show. Also, the actor along with Colors CEO Raj Nayak made his way to London last week to attend a few press conferences.

24 is based on the American series of the same name starring Kiefer Sutherland as counterterrorism agent Jack Bauer.
The Indian adaptation has Kapoor playing Jai Singh Rathore, an agent with the Anti Terrorist Unit. The second season is set 18 months after season one.
