Week 35 (August
26 – September 1) turned out be a smashing one for Team Kaun Banega Crorepati.
The iconic 17-year-old quiz show, which premiered on August 28, beat a number
of shows and clinched the second position.
Yes, in its very
first week, Kaun Banega Crorepati has successfully grabbed eyeballs. The high
ratings of the show do not come as a surprise because the quiz show is a
family’s favourite. Add to that Amitabh Bachchan’s unprecedented charm and you
have a winner.

However, KBC couldn’t
beat Khatron Ke Khiladi which continues to be the most-watched show on Indian
television. The action-packed reality show has won viewers’ heart.

last week. While the former acquired the 3rd spot, the latter was at No.4.

week the rise of Amitabh Bachchan’s Kaun Banega Crorepati adversely affected
Amul Sa Re Ga Ma L’il Champs, for it dropped from a cool No. 2 to 5 in the said
week.

Kumkum Bhagya’s
spin-off Kundali Bhagya registered an improved performance and climbed 2
positions. In Week 35, it stood at No.6.

Ekta Kapoor’s
Chandrakanta, which managed to grab a spot in Top 10 in the past two weeks, was
ousted from it this time around. Let’s see whether it can claim a spot back in
Week 36.
