Are you excited for STAR Plus’ Yeh Rishtey Hai Pyaar Ke, which brings back Shaheer Sheikh on TV. He is paired opposite Rhea Sharma, who was last seen in Tu Suraj Main Saanjh Piya Ji. The show is a spin-off to Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, and there are a lot of expectations from it. A while back we got you the show’s latest promo. And now, here’s a candid chat with the lead actress, Rhea Sharma, at the launch of the show.
Rhea, who is all excited to work with Shaheer Sheikh, in the show, told SpotboyE.com, "When I was in the 8th standard, his show Navya was on-air and I used to like it very much. In fact, I loved all the characters in the show as it was a youth based serial. His character, Anant, was also very popular. That time I didn't even have an idea that one day I will become an actor.”
When we asked Rhea about how fans reacted when they came to know she will be paired opposite Shaheer Sheikh in the show, Rhea replied, "Honestly, I wasn't active on social media from a long time. As I wanted some time off for myself, before I start working. But now, I am back and looking forward to know what my fans are feeling about our Jodi.”
A few days back, Shaheer had spoken to us about making a comeback to the world of television with a daily soap. He had said, "I am all set. I have lot of expectations from this show also because Rajan Sir has promised me a lot of things for my character ki mere andar koi aatma nahi aayegi, mere paas koi super powers nahi aayenge and mera punar janam bhi nahi hoga (laughs). But on a serious note, I am looking forward for Abir and the show. It is very real and the way people related themselves to Kuch Rang Pyaar Ke Aise Bhi, the same way they will relate to this show too."
