Starring Pranali Rathore, Harshad Chopra and Shreyansh Kaurav, Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai has been running successfully for almost 15 years now. Having started the journey with Hina Khan and Karan Mehra, the Rajan Shahi production is not only one of the most-watched shows in India but it also often tops the weekly BARC ratings. In the last few episodes, it was seen despite going to the abortion clinic, Akshara refuses to abort Abhinav’s baby.
Today’s episode starts with Akshara coming to meet Abhir. He expresses to return to the temple so that his wish can come true. Akshara tries to explain to him how she loves him and that she and Abhimanyu will get married when it has to happen. She requests him to stop being stubborn. Abhimanyu overhears their conversation. As Akshara leaves the room she finds Abhimanyu standing outside waiting for her. He extends both his hands and asks her to choose one. She does and he opens his palm to show the mangalsutra and sidoor box he had in his hand. He expresses how they should get married.
Akshara goes on to state how he cannot hurt his mother’s feelings by making such a decision, Abhimanyu however asks her to think about the well-being of Abhir and her baby. On the other hand, Manjiri is sure that Abhimanyu will never take the decision of marrying Akshara without her blessings. Back at the Goenka family, Abhimanyu and Akshara reveal their decision which leaves everyone ecstatic. Even Muskaan comes forward and gives them her blessings. She states that Abhimanyu has become a father to the unborn baby. She apologises to everyone for her behaviour and they forgive her. She even reconciles with Kairav.
Abhir also gets very excited knowing that his parents are getting married. The family members celebrate their union after Akshara reveals that they have received the date for their court marriage. Aarohi too gets super excited on knowing that Abhimanyu and Akshara will be tying the knot. She tells the good news to Manjiri and Mahima, leaving them shocked and devastated.
In the upcoming episode, it will be seen that Manjiri will be demanding her son back from Akshara. As Akshara rushes for a pooja, Manjiri keeps following her wanting her to stop and listen to her. However, Manjiri accidentally pushes Akshara which leads to her falling down and getting unconscious. Manisha and Abhimanyu rush forward when they see this.
