Produced by Rajan Shahi, Star Plus’ show Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai has been running successfully for almost 15 years now. Starring Pranali Rathore, Harshad Chopra, Shreyansh Kaurav and many more in pivotal roles, the show is one of the most-watched shows on Star Plus. In the last episode it was seen that having become good friends while co-parenting Abhir, Abhimanyu confesses his love to Akshara which leaves her shocked.
Today’s episode starts with Aarohi and Akshara having a heart-to-heart talk. As Akshara opens up about feeling like a selfish mother for not wanting to get married to Abhimanyu, Aarohi consoles her and asks her to imagine how she wants her life to look like in 10 years. As they are talking Akshara confides in Aarohi and tells her about Abhimanyu’s confession which is overheard by Manish. On the other hand, Abhimanyu informs Manjiri that he will be going to Delhi for some days. She will advise him not to run away from anything. Back at the Goenkas, Manish gets emotional while talking to Akshara and Aarohi. As the episode further progresses, it is seen that a man gets heartbroken after knowing that his son went into a coma after an operation. He starts enquiring how his son can go into a coma if he was here to treat a small injury of his. He slams Mahima, Anand and Parth try to stop him. As the guard takes the man outside the hospital, Anand asks Mahima what exactly happened. She reveals how she was assisting the doctor in giving the kid oxygen supply, when he slipped into a coma. Parth thinks that the kids slipped in a coma because of the new oxygen cylinders. Further into the episode it is seen that Abhimanyu leaves for Delhi just as Akshara reaches the Birla hospital to talk to him. Manish and Abhi too reach the Birla hospital so that the kid can get a photo with his parents. The heartbroken man brings a gun to the hospital and finds out that Abhir is Abhimanyu’s son. He makes his mission to kill Abhir, since Abhimanyu must love him a lot. He starts terrorising the hospital.
In the upcoming episode it will be seen that Akshara quickly hides Abhir and asks the man to kill her instead. She declares that she is Abhimanyu Birla’s wife, just as the doctor reaches to save her and Abhir. It is further seen that as the police are trying to control the deranged man, his gun get fired. It will be seen if Abhimanyu or Akshara get injured during the fire.
