Pranali Rathore, Harshad Chopra and Shreyansh Kaurav starrer Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai has been running successfully for almost 15 years now. Having started the journey with Hina Khan and Karan Mehra, the Rajan Shahi production is not only one of the most-watched shows in India but it also often tops the weekly BARC ratings. The last few episodes of the show have centred around the budding relationship between Abhimanyu and Akshara. The duo have started getting closer as they help each other through their problems.
In yesterday’s episode it was seen how Abhimanyu and Akshara hug each other after witnessing Manjiri overcoming her fear of fire. This is witnessed by Dadi and Manish who think that they should get re-married. In the upcoming episode it will be seen that Akshara and Abhimanyu will get awkward around each other. Abhir informs them about the event held in his school. He instructs his mother to make pasta and docman to make noodles. As Abhir and Ruhi meet each other at school the next day, the ex-couple gets awkward seeing each other for the first time after their hug. They hash out the awkwardness by stating that they are good friends and were very happy with Manjiri’s progress. As they reach home, they overhear the elders of the Goenka and Birla family discussing how they should get married. The couple immediately refuses. Akshara keeps her point by stating that she is not ready to replace Abhinav with anyone else and would gladly stay as his widow. The elders explain to her how she will need a partner when everyone gets busy in their life, but Akshara and Abhimanyu stay adamant on their decision. Even Manjiri extends her support to the two and states that they should do what makes them happy. According to the new promo of the serial, Abhimanyu keeps recalling how Manjiri was stuck in the fire because of him. Akshara will extend a helping hand to him. As he hugs her, she draws a line between them by stating that they are good friends.
