Starring Pranali Rathore, Harshad Chopra and Shreyansh Kaurav, Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai has been running successfully for almost 15 years now. Having started the journey with Hina Khan and Karan Mehra, the Rajan Shahi production is not only one of the most-watched shows in India but it also often tops the weekly BARC ratings. In the last few episodes it was seen how Akshara reveals in front of everyone that she is pregnant, leaving everyone shocked. The declaration leaves Manjiri irked who wants Akshara to choose between Abhimanyu and Abhinav’s baby.
Today’s episode starts with Akshara and Manjiri having a heart-to-heart talk where they open up about how the former needs to make the right choice after considering all the options. As they part and Manjiri leaves, Manish and Suwarna ask her what she wanted to talk to Akshara about. On the other hand, Akshara starts feeling panicky as she recalls Manjiri’s words. She remembers Abhinav. As she starts walking, a ladder falls in front of her and Abhimanyu saves her just in time. He checks her pulse and starts fussing over her. He goes on to ask her if they need to visit the hospital. Abhimanyu advises her not to take stress. The discussion on what Manjiri was talking to Akshara continues in the Goenka house, even Abhimanyu asks them what happened. Muskaan comes to them and informs everyone that Manjiri wants Akshara to have an abortion so that she can completely move on in her life and be with Abhimanyu as his wife. This leaves everyone furious. They discuss how what Manjiri asked for is wrong, however Suwarna supports Manjiri’s thoughts. She4 explains how Manjiri made the request because of her personal experiences. On the other hand, Abhimanyu too lashes out at Manjiri. She tries to explain to him how blood relations are stronger than relationships built on love. Mahima too supports Manjiri by stating how if Abhinav’s baby comes into the Birla house, Akshara and Abhimanyu might not be able to give Abhir a good childhood. Abhimanyu stays adamant on wanting to raise Abhinav’s child. He promises to Abhinav that he will look after Akshara and his baby. He goes on to express how he just wants to give love to Akshara and her kids and not any pain. In the upcoming episode it will be seen that Akshara apologises to Abhir for coming late. In a fit of rage, Abhir says that he hates the new baby and that he will pray to god that he takes the baby away leaving Akshara stunned.
According to the recent promo of the show, it is hinted that Abhir and Abhimanyu will be getting into a fatal car accident, which will lead to Akshara raising her and Abhinav’s daughter Naira alone. It is being reported that this twist will lead to yet another generational leap where Naira and Aarohi’s daughter Ruhi will become the next female protagonists of the serial.
