Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai's Naira aka Shivangi Joshi is going through a tough time as she lost her grandfather (dadaji) last evening, that is, on May 18 (Monday). The actress took her Instagram story sometime back to share this sad news. The actress is currently under quarantine at her hometown, Dehradun and celebrated her 22nd birthday just yesterday. Owing to that she had also planned to go live to thank her fans for sending her birthday wishes but she had to cancel it because of this unfortunate news.
The actress took to her Instagram and wrote on her Insta story, "Unfortunate to lose my grandfather yesterday, may he smile and look upon us from the sky." Shivangi was quite close to him and had once shared a picture with him when he paid her a surprise visit on the sets of YRKKH.
Talking about the show Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, the serial is one of the too rated serials on TV right now. The show has made Shivangi a household name. Since the time TV shoots have been shut thanks to the lockdown to curb COVID-19, Shivangi chose to go back to Dehradun to be with her family.
