Divyanka Tripathi and Karan Patel starrer Yeh Hai
Mohabbatein currently occupies the 7.30 pm slot on Star Plus. Now,
starting May 21, the family drama will get a new air-time. Reason? The channel
is introducing Mariam Khan – Reporting Live in its place.
A Still From Yeh Hai Mohabbatein
The promos of the latter have already begun airing and it
tells the tale of a young girl, Mariam, who looks at things rather differently.
Yeh Hai Mohabbatein will now air at 10.30 pm.

Meanwhile, last month, we had told you that the
makers (Ekta Kapoor) are introducing Ye Hai Chahatein, which will be a spin-off
of Yeh Hai Mohabbatein.
It was being (falsely) reported that Yeh Hai Mohabbatein
will soon slip into oblivion to be replaced by its spin-off Yeh Hai Chahatein.
However, the Star Plus (broadcaster) and Ekta Kapoor (producer) had different
plans.
A Still From Kundali Bhagya
The show’s cast is in the process of being finalised but
it’s that it will not star Divyanka or Karan.
You may recall, Ekta had taken a similar step for Kumkum
Bhagya when she introduced its spin-off, Kundali Bhagya. The latter has
become an audience favourite and tops the ratings chart week after week.

Over to the change in time slot, it remains to be seen
how does Yeh Hai Mohabbatein perform in the new time slot and whether, Mariam
Khan-Reporting Live can cash in on the popularity of the time allotted to it.
