For some time
now, speculations have been rife that Somendra Solanki and Hema Sood, who
essay the roles of lovebirds Arjun and Shefali respectively in Sony TV’s Ye Un
Dinon Ki Baat Hai are dating in real life.
Hema admits that
she loves spending time with her co-star and said, “We met on the sets and
since we have many scenes together, I spend most days in his company. Since we
get weekly-offs on the same day too, we prefer hanging out with each other on
those days. Like any normal friends we go shopping, eat out and watch films
together. Somendra is a polite, calm, understanding and an extremely
good-looking guy. People feel that we are dating each other, but I don’t know
if this can be called dating. Somendra is such a nice person that any girl can
fall for him. I do feel that our closeness is one of the reasons for the
chemistry we share onscreen.”
While Hema
acknowledged that Somendra is special for her, the actor, on the other hand,
feels that they need to focus on their careers first. He said, “I love Hema and
we are great friends, but we have to focus on our work. If I am bonding with
her off screen and that understanding reflects on the show then that’s good.
Hema is a professional actress and she understands me. We are not dating yet,
but tomorrow is
another day.”
