Tina Datta is indeed one of the most controversial contestants of Bigg Boss 16. She has often made headlines for her ever-changing feelings towards co-contestant Shalin Bhanot. She even questioned Sumbul Touqeer Khan’s friendship towards the older actor in previous episodes and called her obsessive. Now, in the recently released promo by the makers of the show, Tina can be seen breaking down crying while talking to Salman Khan one-on-one. 

The Uttaran actress, who has come off as a manipulative player, has often taken the social media by storm with her game play. In the video it is seen that Salman asks her to come into the confession room, where she talks to him about seeing Shalin as a friend and feeling lonely in the house as many have turned their backs on her. Talking about her alleged romantic angle, the 55-year-old host criticizes her for leading Shalin on, reminding her that she had said ‘I Love You’ to him. She clarifies that she only sees Shalin as a friend and she said those words platonically. She further claims that she doesn’t even know him that well. Salman Khan then asks her if she communicated these feeling properly because for Shalin and the audience, she is romantically invested in him.

Angry fans bashed her for leading people on and using them as per her convenience. One fan commented on the post saying how this is Tina’s karma for torturing Sumbul. Another fan expressed, “I'm sorry I'm confused because she told Sumbul "this is love between the both of us" when she was fighting about Shalin Tina when you tell too many lies, you struggle to keep them straight.” ALSO READ: WHAT! For the unversed, according to the rumour mills Tina Datta is the next contestant that will be evicted from the Bigg Boss 16 house. She is nominated alongside MC Stan, Nimrit Kaur Ahluwalia and Sumbul Touqeer Khan.
