Comedian Kapil Sharma alerts his dear fans to beware of fake show advertisements circulating on social media. On Wednesday, September 13, the comedian clarified that these advertisements are not authentic and urged his fans and followers not to falling prey to scammers who request money while falsely promising access to tickets or passes for his celebrity show. Responding to a creative of his TV show that claims to be of Rs 4,999, Kapil tweeted "Sir it’s a fraud. we never charge our audiences a single penny to see the live shoot, pls beware of these kind of fraud people, thank you."

Kapil's most recent appearance on the silver screen was in Nandita Das' movie Zwigato, which hit theatres in March 2023. In the film, he portrayed a food delivery worker navigating the gig economy, a path he ventured into after losing his job during the COVID-19 lockdown. Zwigato is a tale of resilience, optimism, and the indomitable human spirit. According to reports, Kapil's upcoming project is The Crew which also stars Kareena Kapoor Khan, Kriti Sanon and Tabu in major roles.
