It is no secret that Bigg Boss 13 fame Shehnaaz Gill shares a close and warm bond with superstar Salman Khan. During her stint on his reality show, Gill first met the actress and charmed him with her bubbly and outspoken personality. Salman even gave him the name ‘Punjabi Ki Katrina Kaif’ and since then, their bond has been getting stronger. Shehnaaz is now making her Bollywood debut with Salman’s upcoming film ‘Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan’ and is busy promoting the same. 

During her appearance on ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’, the Honsla Rakh actress made a shocking revelation that she blocked his number when he was calling to off her his film. Yes, you read that right! Narrating the incident to the host Kapil, Shehnaaz said, “I was in Amritsar visiting the Gurudwara when I received a call from an unknown number. And I have this habit of blocking unknown numbers, so I did the same. Then after a few minutes, I got a message that Salman sir is trying to call me. Just to verify, I put the number on the Truecaller app and found out that it was actually Salman Khan calling me! I immediately unblocked him and called him back; it was then that he offered me the film and that’s how I got the film.”  ALSO READ: OMG! At the trailer launch event of ‘Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan’, the actress spoke about working with the Sultan actor and thanked him for believing in her. She recalled how she faced rejections and one day when she was crying her mother told her a day would come when she would be in a Salman Khan film. 
Besides Gill, Salman, Pooja Hegde, Raghav Juyal, Palak Tiwari, Jassie Gill, Siddharth Nigam, Vinali Bhatnagar, and Sukhbir also appeared on the comedy chat show. 

Directed by Farhad Samji, the film will hit theatres on April 21.
