Over the past few years, Rakhi Sawant has owned up to the name of being the ‘Queen of Controversy.’ She has been ruling the headlines with her antiques and her controversial statement. She is currently embroiled in a war with her estranged husband Adil Khan Durrani, as both the parties are not shying away from washing their dirty laundry in front of the media. Well, after making many accusations on each other, he has now alleged that she has hired people to get him killed.
Yes, you read that right! According to a report by Bollywood Life, Adil has presented facts stating that his life is in danger. In a recent press conference, he asked rakhi to present the proofs for her allegations in court rather than making claims. He went on to explain that he has filed a complaint against “the supari killers in Mysore,” as there is a threat to his life. He revealed that Rakhi has planned this with Shelly Lather. Quoted by the entertainment publication, he said, “I have filed a complaint against the supari killers in Mysore. There is a threat on my life. I have made this complaint at the Oshiwara police Station too that my life is at risk. Rakhi Sawant wants to get me killed. Rakhi had planned this through Shelly. I have intimated this to the Mysore Police as well.” He went on to add that if something happens to him Rakhi and Shelly were to be blamed. For the unversed, after tying the knot in 2022, Rakhi and Adil’s relationship fell apart when she accused him of extra-marital affairs, sexual harassment and physical abuse. She went on to allege that he also mishandled her funds and accused him of killing her mother by not paying for her cancer treatment when the actress was busy shooting for Bigg Boss Marathi season 4. She filed an FIR against him under sections 406, 420 498 (A), and 377 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC).
