Television actress Aditi Sharma has garnered a huge fan base, over the years, with her versatile performances and heart melting smile. She is currently essaying the role of Katha in Katha Ankahee, co-starring Adnan Khan, on Sony Television. For the past few months, it was being rumoured that the show will be going off-air next month and make way for Sumbul Touqeer Khan’s serial Kavya - Ek Jazba Ek Junoon. Now she has dismissed the rumours during a recent interview.
In an interaction with ETimes, Aditi denied the possibility of her tv serial going off-air. She stated that these rumours have been doing rounds for many months. She explained how the show is doing really well and has managed to connect with the audience. She said, “The rumours of our show going off air are doing the rounds for many months now. The show is doing well and there is no news of it wrapping up anytime soon. The show has found a connect with masses.”
For the unversed, the serial centres around the relationship between a single mother and a businessman and how love blossoms as their paths cross with each other at different points in their lives. Apart from Aditi and Adnan, the show also stars Jyoti Gauba, Vishal Malhotra, Vishal Gandhi, Gireesh Sahdev and Roma Arora among many others in pivotal roles.
Talking about Kavya - Ek Jazba Ek Junoon, the show is yet to receive a time slot on the channel. If reports are to be believed, the Sumbul Touqeer Khan starrer will centre around the romance between an IAS officer and an IPS officer. The show will shed light on the societal pressure faced by married women, who expect her to prioritise her partner over everything else. While Mishkat Verma will play the male lead, Chandresh Singh will be seen essaying the role of her father in the show.
