Bigg Boss is often dubbed as one of the most controversial shows ever and previously many celebrities have turned down the show owing to its violent nature. Now, the latest celebrity to take a dig at the Salman Khan-hosted show was Bharat Pe co-founder and Shark Tank judge Ashneer Grover. ALSO READ | WHAT! Not only did the judge slam the show but also opined that only failed people go on the reality show Bigg Boss, not successful ones.
For those unaware, Salman Khan is known to host the latest edition of the reality show that has been running for 16 seasons now.
Ashneer also quipped that he may consider participating in the show if he is offered money more than what Salman gets to host the show.
When asked if her has ever been offered to participate in the reality show, Ashneer told RedFM during a podcast, “Yes.” The Bharat Pe co-founder was also asked about the possibility of seeing him on Bigg Boss, and Ashneer said, “Never! Only failed individuals go on that show, not successful people. I will never go on that show. There was a time when I used to watch the show, but I feel it’s become stale now. They approached me. I said sorry, not happening.”
Ashneer was also quoted by Hindustan Times talking about considering the offer for big money and said, “Jitna marzi dein, nahi jana to nahi jana. Salman Khan se jada de rahe hon to batao (Does not matter how much they offer, I just do not want to go. But tell me if the money on offer is more than what they pay Salman Khan).”
Would he then host the show? “No, no. I just need a paycheque greater than Salman Khan. I will participate then.”
Ashneer has become a popular name owing to his appearance on the TV show - Shark Tank India. Soon he emerged as a household name as he appeared on the show as one of the judges. Shark Tank India features pitchers aka entrepreneurs presenting their business ideas to billionaire sharks who offer investment from one or more of them. He is not part of the second season of the show.
