Sometime back we reported to you that Wajid Khan's mortal remains have been moved from Suvarna Hospital, Chembur to Versova for his last rites and now his elder brother Sajid has reached the crematorium. Wearing a white kurta and teary eyed, he could be seen walking in. Wajid Khan, one half of the musical duo, Sajid Wajid breathed his last on May 31. He had been suffering from a prolonged Kidney and Heart ailment and as per Salim Merchant, the singer-composer had also tested positive for Coronavirus, a few days back.
Sajid's pictures from the crematorium are really heartbreaking as this is perhaps the first time we haven't seen the brothers together. Their collaboration on popular tracks has been commendable. Their last work was with their brother and Godfather, Salman Khan, for his lockdown tracks, Pyaar Karona and Bhai Bhai.
The tracks sung by Salman, are a treat for Khan's fans amidst of the COVID-19 lockdown. Pyaar Karona released on April 20, 2020 marking the debut of Salman Khan’s Youtube channel.
Wajid who was 42 when he breathed his last. Though there hasn't been any official confirmation regarding the reason due to which he died, there have been unconfirmed reports of him suffering from a kidney-related problem because of which he had been hospitalized and was also put on a ventilator for quite a few days. Other reports suggest he does due to COVID-19 related complications but there hasn't been any official statement from the family yet.
