Vindu Dara Singh's wife Dina Umarova along with their daughter Amelia has flown to her hometown Novosibirsk in Siberia, Russia and only plans to come back after COVID-19 situation in India normalizes. But reaching Russia was a task for the mother-daughter duo with several restrictions coming into the picture with second of COVID-19, Dina and Amelia had to change four flights, followed by finally reaching Novosibirsk on Thursday. Vindu Dara Singh confirmed Dina to be in Russia when he was contacted by Times of India.
He said, “Yes. They are in Russia now. When things got out of control in India, particularly in Mumbai, we got scared. I continue to remain positive and calm but for Dina, who loves to stay close to nature and can't stay indoors much, it was getting bit difficult. She was getting thoughts from last year. Moreover, she also lost her dad last year. So, I told her to go and relax. And in Russia things are better. They both are very happy to reach there. I might join them in a month or so.”
The actor who is already missing his wife and daughter revealed life being difficult without them, “Yes, it's difficult without them. They are my support, strength, everything. Dina's mother is also alone there. So, they can look after her now by staying near her,” added Vindu Dara Singh.
Vindu speaking about Dina praying for India, also revealed her business suffered a lot due to the pandemic but they did not let her staff get affected with it. “Both of them are worried. But I have told them to just stay focussed and keep praying. Last year we paid full salaries to our staff. While Dina is not around, her staff is there to take control,” informed the actor.
