In response to the viral video, Vandana Phadnis Lokhande, Ankita Lokhande's mother, addressed the situation in a conversation with India Forums. She dismissed the video's context, mentioning it was a misrepresentation due to the wrong angle. Vandana expressed familiarity with Vicky, having lived with him, and stated that the portrayal was misleading, emphasizing that they are a very affectionate couple deeply in love with each other.
