Vatsal Sheth recently took to social media to share some throwback pictures with Shah Rukh Khan from his early days in the industry when he was doing a TV show called ‘Just Mohabbat’. Now, in a recent interview, he opened up about the sentiment behind the pictures and also recalled his experience of working with King Khan in a commercial. Vatsal shared an incident from the sets of the commercial where he was extremely nervous and revealed how SRK calmed him down.
While speaking with Etimes, Vatsal Seth said, “When I went on the sets, I was very nervous and my director was getting angry with me because I wasn’t getting it right. I was in awe of Shah Rukh Khan and I just kept looking at him acting. In one of the scenes, I had to ignore him and be nice to the actress and flirt with her, but I couldn’t stop looking at him! That's when my director shouted, saying don’t look at Shah Rukh, look at the girl.”
He added, "Shah Rukh bhai realised that I was nervous and he calmed me down. He even went and told the director to not be harsh with me, I was a kid. Then he showed me how to play my part, that was really sweet of him to do that.”
The Taarzan: The Wonder Car actor also mentioned that Shah Rukh also advised him that as an actor one should always keep learning and that he still remembers and follows that advice.
A couple of days ago, Vatsal Seth had shared a few pictures posing with Shah Rukh Khan and wrote, “It was October 2000 …Nervous as hell (u can see it in my face ) couldn’t believe being in the same frame with the superstar @iamsrk Shah Rukh bhai talked me through it and made me very comfortable during the shoot…can’t thank him enough for helping a super nervous kid out one of the best experiences of my life…those memories are still so fresh…and will cherish them all my life.” ALSO READ: Has Shah Rukh Khan Really Said Yes To OTT? Work-wise, Vatsal Seth rose to fame with his stint on the show Just Mohabbat and had done several TV shows including, Ek Hasina Thi, Haasil and Yeh Rishtey Hain Pyaar Ke. He debuted in Bollywood from the movie ‘Taarzan: The Wonder Car with Ayesha Takia.
