Actress Helly Shah is a part of the supporting team of Box Cricket League bats for female cricketers. The actress goes on to talk about gender biases that prevail in the society. During one of the practice sessions, the actress spoke about the wage gap between women and men cricketers.

"I am happy that television has got a show on cricket where boys and girls play the matches irrespective to gender which is credited for men by our society. I feel blessed and greatful joining the game to motivate the teams. I personally feel sports are for both boys and girls. And girls need to be motivated towards playing cricket. The female matches should equally get the importance and national recognition," said Helly who is known for Swaragini and Devanshi.

She added, "It would be great to see more coverage for women’s sport, more being done to encourage girls to play cricket at schools, because having the best women’s cricket team in the country would be fantastic. But if it also brings more benefit for women from the game like by equal payment made to boys cricket team, than that would be fantastic too."

Talking about Helly’s acting career, she started acting when she was in 8th grade with Gulaal. She went on to play the female lead in Life OK's TV show Alaxmi — Humari Super Bahu as Alaxmi. Later, she played Ami in Khelti Hai Zindagi Aankh Micholi and was also seen on Sony Pal TV show Khushiyon Kii Gullak Aashi.

From March 2015 to December 2016, Shah was portraying the role of Swara in Swaragini opposite Varun Kapoor, Tejasswi Prakash Wayangankar and Namish Taneja.
