Do you all remember the cute innocent boy from Zee TV's Hitler Didi who essayed character of Rishi Kumar? Yes, we are talking about actor Sumit Vats who played the main lead opposite Rati Pandey on the show. The actor who was last seen in Ajab Gajab Ghar Jamai in 2015 which aired on Big Magic will be a part of Abhishek Bachchan and Ileana D'Cruz starrer The Big Bull. The film is loosely based on real events of financial market that took place between 1990 and 2000 involving Harshad Mehta and his financial crimes. It is being produced by Ajay Devgn and directed by Kookie Gulati.
A source close to the film revealed to us that the film shoot has begun and it also stars Sumit Vats in it. He is playing Abhishek Bachchan's close friend and apart from Sumit, the film also features Ram Kapoor, Samir Soni and Supriya Pathak in important roles. Sumit will be sharing the screen space with these popular actors for the first time on big screen. However, it's not his Bollywood debut. The actor was previously seen in Daisy Shah and Rishi Bhutani starrer romantic comedy Ramratan.
Sumit who started his career with the role of Dwarak in Kashi – Ab Na Rahe Tera Kagaz Kora was later seen as Raman in 12/24 Karol Bagh. However, he earned more recognition with the daily soap opera Hitler didi. The show became such a hit that it was later dubbed in Arabic, French, and English languages and was also aired on international channels.
